Chapter III: Healing Hands and New Place

Casa Bambora came and went.  On the fourth of July Kelly had a tragic accident.  Her hands got toasted while she tried operating a gas oven.  I have been taking care of the responsibilities and chores while Kelly stubbornly draws and works.
After much prompting to go back to America she firmly entrenched her self in Costa Rica and doesn't want to go back until the mid of August.  A few people still comment about my truths and writings, I do this to freely share bits of my life and to give some people brief images of what its like to travel.  If you don't like it then simply don't read it. Casa Bambora came to an end. I will always remember the ocean view and how I could see six different characteristics of the sea.  One part was turbulent, another sunny, another dark and yet another light. The National Park and exotic birds were the cherry.  Sunsets such as these occurred a few times a week.  A few Americans did not show concern.  The Hotel did not give Kelly an apology nor any gift.  They should have given her a free week in low season.  On the other hand many Canadians and locals expressed compassion.  Joseph and his wife gave Kelly stems from an aloe plant that came from their house.  Others such as Chris from Travel Destinations always have time to listen and chat.  We have some cool friends down and I look forward to revisiting. The new place has many names such as Casa Del Sol and Casa Pacifico.  Management recently changed and there is high theft.  Its surrounded by garbage and mud.  Music shakes the walls nightly from nearby bars.  Its not worth taking pictures.  We are taking a 400 hundred dollar loss and getting a condo in Playa Coco.  Stay tuned in for our last excursion with crocodiles and monkeys, the Nicaragua trip had to be sadly canceled.
